What We've Found

Recent polling commissioned by the Infrastructure Alliance of Iowa shows support for data centers in the state – when they are built the right way.

Nearly 7 in 10 likely Iowa voters (68%) say they would support data center construction when companies commit to responsible energy and water use and deliver concrete benefits to the community.

Support is bipartisan, with strong backing from Republicans (74%) and Democrats (59%).

A proposal to expand Iowa’s ability to develop responsibly and hold data centers accountable is popular, with support from 71% of Republicans and 53% of Democrats.
